Bathtime Baby

 

Fresh from the bath. Its kind of, Mr. Clean meets Mr. T ;) 

HE DID IT, HE DID IT!!!! (in my best Dorothy voice)

HE WALKED!! LIKE REALLY WALKED!!! HE'S TAKEN A STEP OR TWO BEFORE, BUT THIS WAS LIKE 6-7 STEPS!! AND IT WAS FAST TOO, ALMOST A RUN (I should've known)! STILL EXCITED, SO COOL!! I CALLED DADDY AND NANA ALREADY! MAWMAW, YA-YA, AND MOMMY WERE ALL HERE FOR THE EVENT, 4 GENERATIONS, COOL HUH! I'LL POST A VIDEO AS SOON AS I CAN CATCH HIM IN THE ACT. HE IS REFUSING A REPEAT PERFORMANCE CURRENTLY ;)

Why Yes That Is a Toilet Brush In My Hand!

 

I don't even know how to begin ;) He loves to play in the bathroom and the kitchen. But recently he has taken to making toilet paper confetti and stalking the toilet brush. I let the confetti go (as long as he isn't eating it) and well, the toilet brush is a different story. Those things are nasty! So I went to Target today and bought him his very own toilet brush! He was so tickled when we got home and I unwrapped it and set it in the floor for him to play with. To my suprise, he immediately sprinted for the bathroom, straight to the toilet! Geez, what am I gonna do with this kid! Anyways, I wrestled him out of the bathroom and luckily the toilet brush is just as much fun outside the bathroom as it was in. You know when I graduated college with a degree in biology and a 3.3 GPA I had no idea this is where I would end up, of course I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Cuddling up with my PawPaw! This was one tired boy. He and PawPaw had been playing with mouse and he just layed back right onto PawPaw (and stayed there!). Mommy was melting, so was PawPaw though.

Is it my birthday? No, not yet, but Nana just couldn't wait. I can't blame her. He had such a blast! I didn't think he would be ready for a toy he could sit and ride on, shows what I know ;)

Playing with Mommy

We hace had several very nice fall days, along with a couple very nice summer days. We all went outside to play. LJ's not real fond of the playpen, but it occupies for a little while. I still can't believe he's almost a year old! He's gotten so interactive in the past couple of weeks. He talks more, climbs more, and is way more silly! 

No Denying It ...

this is one cute little boy! Who just happens to be 11 months old, today! Happy Birthday LJ! I can't even begin to tell you what fun we are having now. He gets the biggest kick out of hearing people laugh, and he will do anything for a laugh. Its great and we are having a blast! One of our newest adventures is chasing the vaccuum cleaner. He loves it. When he catches it, he takes all the attachments off and plays with them. Everything is a game, I love it! 

The Next Big Thing

He LOVES to sing! Such a ham. This is one of his favorite places to play, in case you can't tell, its the back of the Hyundai. He actually took his first step here. 

Weight Lifting

As if he needed to be any stronger! As you can probably tell, he has developed a recent fascination with the broom. He does this with everything now, it all get lifted over his head. Go figure?!?

My Birthday

On Saturday, December 9th, a little boy will be One Year Old! Can you believe it? I can't, the time has just slipped away. But here we are. So on Saturday we will celebrate LJ's birthday at our house. You are welcome to come anytime, but I will probably do cake and ice cream around 12pm. No presents are necessary as he already has every toy made in the last 12 months. But if you must, he likes touch and feel or peek-a-boo books, as well as, balls, things with wheels, and puzzles. We'll see you all then.
