As many of you know, Cissy is a sick kid. Has been that way since birth, slowly improving but still, her little life just sucks some days. Today we had an appt. with a pediatric gastroenterologist. And he says to us - there really isn't anything I can do for her. SUPER! One more person who can't offer us any help (which is fine, I'd rather him say that now, than run a ba-zillion tests and then tell me the same thing). He did refer us to the speech/language pathologist because he thinks that most of her issues are caused by her breathing/swallowing difficulties. So off to another specialist we go! The good news - are you ready for this:
- Cissy has gained a pound in the past week!!! A pound, a whole pound!! To put this in perspective for you, in the previous 4 weeks she only gained a pound! This is HUGE! I really, really needed some good news - thank you Jesus!!
