My Two Favorite Men ...

What a pair. Now who could resist this?!? Daddy was in the bathroom and LJ and I were in the living room playing. All of the sudden he realized Daddy wasn't with us, so he set off to find him. It was so cute. He was so proud of himself for finding the Daddy, all on his own. These are the moments Mommy lives for.

The Mighty Monkey

My little behemoth actually moves the furniture around now. The table pictured here used to be flush with the wall before the monkey got to it. I can't believe how freakishly strong he is! Don't worry I'm sure he will be using his powers for good and not for evil ;) 

My New Hat

My big head won't fit into any of my old hats. So Nana bought me this cool new winter hat when we were out the other day. Mom made me try it on this morning and where it around the house to make sure I wouldn't yank it off my head. Silly Mommy, when is she gonna learn, I only take it off when she needs me to keep it on ;) 

Stuck!

Some discoveries aren't as fun as I had planned. Like today at Nana's. I climbed in and then couldn't get out! Yikes!

Bundle-O-Baby

It was our first really cool day here. It was 42 this morning when he and Dad headed out for their morning stroll. As you can see, the cool weather suits this chunky monkey quite well.

He loves to climb, today was the walker. Its his friend Jeremy's toy. I think it reminds him of Jeremy ;) 

The Sleep Diaries, a New Saga Begins

So we had to change plans, mostly because my sweet little baby is too smart, manipulative, and stubborn (just like his Mother). So we started plan B on Tuesday night. So far, so good. Not too pretty the first night, he cried off and on from 11pm until 2am. Last night, he awoke at 9:30pm and again at 10:45pm, but put himself right back to sleep. What a big boy! Now if we could just get Mommy to sleep! Thank you all for your prayers, support, advice, and the good sense to let us do it our way ;)

A Quick Look Back

This picture was taken the day after Christmas '05. He was a little over 2 weeks old. The funny thing is, he still reaches up and plays with that same patch of hair, especially when he's getting sleepy. 

The Sleep Diaries, Day Five

Lots of screaming! I think he invented a whole new scream just for this process. Oh well. Naps were inconsistent (totally my fault). Went to bed at 7pm, fairly nicely. Up at 11 pm, nursed, calmed, tried to put to bed ... screamfest until 1am. Slept til 5:30 am, screamfest til 6:30 am, slept til 8 am. Naps went well today and he nursed to sleep at 6:30 pm. I know its early but he's SO tired. Here's to the promise of good sleep!

The Puffs!

I don't know what it is about this canister of puffs, but he LOVES it! I mean, I know he likes to eat and all, but geez. Most kids carry around a stuffed animal or a blanket, not this chunky monkey, he carries food! 

My Very Own Push Toy

He made his own push toy. Its so cute, he grabs it and walks around all by himself! He is so big! I actually put him in clothes on Friday that didn't snap (for the first time). Where did all my baby time go :(
