Cissy is ALL BETTER!

It only took 6 months, but we finally have a clean bill of health! She will need a few physical therapy exercises, but its all stuff we can do at home and the PT said she should be fine in about a month! Thank you for all of your prayers and support!!

One More Time ...

Cissy has one more set of tests. She will be having a modified barium swallow done on Monday. They hope to find out what keeps causing her to choke and gag. We should know everything we need to know when we leave there on Monday, so I will update as soon I can. She has a physical therapy assessment on Monday, as well. They are trying to figure out whether her limited flexibility is a muscle/tendon problem or if there is a problem with her hip joint. If its the joint we head to the orthopedic specialist, if its muscular we continue with physical therapy. So again, I'll let you know as soon as I can. The good news is ... she's a happy little problem child ;)
