This is my gardenia bush. John nearly killed it, but it has made its way back to life and has just begun to bloom!
This is my calalily, which I truely cherish. It is such a sweet little blessing from God. I had been looking at calalilies at Lowe's for weeks, but they are so expensive and just not in the budget. I went to go clear out a few things from the side yard (aka: wild america) and found my cala! I did not plant her, she must be remnant from the previous owner (we've lived here for 6 years now). God is so good to me!
This is my rose plant. It has not yet begun to bloom, but she is in fact no small miracle herself. John tried to kill her as well. He cut her off at the root
This is the little snapdragon that could. All of my plants are somewhat a miracle, I suppose. This one is Cissy's favorite. She pulls the blooms off of it and brings them to me. Or she pulls the whole plant out of the ground and brings it to me. Its been replanted twice now.

oh, i love your pictures and garden stories! it makes me want to go out and share my garden successes with the world. i have 2 pumpkin plants that are growing up out of our first compost-fertilizer that i put in our flower bed. i transplanted the two shoots and they are both flourishing. i'm amazed at how much i love my little garden...
