Don't Drink the Water

Our playgroup members are as follows: Sarah (moved to Raleigh), Ann (moved to Advance), Jody, Kristine, Lesli, Cassie (moved to Michigan), Katie, Jamie and myself. Six of the nine of us are pregnant! Ms. Sarah was the most recent to announce, she is due in February! Its really cool that we are all pregnant again together, well almost all, we have a few holdouts ;) But to be honest, I really miss Ms. Sarah. She and I were in childbirth classes together the first time so we knew each other pre-baby(ies). But she is doing great and loves Raleigh and I've made some new friends here too. Its also really weird that we are all pregnant again around the same time when most of us were not planning this, so as I said, don't drink the water ;)

It's a ....

... surprise! We found out today what we are having, but I have decided not to post it. So if you would like to know, please feel free to make a personal request (via phone, email, or in the comments) and we will be more than happy to let you in on our little secret. Other than that all is well, mommy & baby are both healthy. I put L.J. on the scale while we were there and he weighs in now at 27.6 lbs. That's right kids, not only am I toting my new pregnancy weight, but also nearly 30 lbs of toddler on a daily basis ;)

What a Weekend!

How much can one kid (and Mommy/Daddy) handle in one weekend? The run-down:
1. Friday - we went shopping and got ice cream with Nana (thanks Nana!)
2. Saturday - Daddy had a karate seminar, LJ helped Mommy pack up clothes that don't fit and clean up. Then we went to the lake, road on the boat, drove PawPaw's truck, saw the ducks, went to the park, saw the bears, foxes, doggies, birds, turtles, deer, donkey and all manner of assorted animals. Played on the playground. Went to dinner with MawMaw, PawPaw, and Alan. Crashed before we even hit the interstate to go home.
3. Sunday - wide awake and raring to go. Went to church, he loves church (now that nursery doesn't freak him out). Fell asleep in the car before we even got home (all of a 5 min drive).

The kid is worn out! But in the midst of all of this I forgot to mention that we also introduced him to the potty. He has yet to use it, but he insists on coming with us each time we do and he likes to sit on the potty (the BIG potty, not the potty chair we were trying to get him to use). So today I have to go buy a stool, big-boy underwear, and a potty cushion for the BIG potty. He has also developed a fond affection for unrolling the toilet paper. Oh, one more thing, he calls the potty, "potty-potty" with a total grin and a seriously strange Boston accent. He's so fun!

My Wish List

Call me tacky if you want, but the wish list for Baby #2 is now up on the sidebar. Just a couple things we want for the new baby or to help LJ. I'll add more once we find out what we are having.

U/S Day is June 5th

For those of you that don't know, "u/s" is an abbreviation of ultrasound. So that means that next Tuesday we will find out whether "Sprout" is a gurl (as LJ says) or a boy. So tell me what you think, boy or girl? What is your preference (and no cop-out answers!)?
